Welcome To Keilor Electric Off Road Car Association

Thanks for visiting the website for Keilor Electric Off Road Car Association, Inc. (KEORCA).  Here you’ll find all the details you’ll need to enter the world of 1/10th scale RC car racing.  Whether it’s information on how to setup your car, how a club-day race is run, or how to register for the next race, you’ll find information on all that and more right here.

For our club-days, the club meets on the second and fourth Sunday of each month and caters for 1/10 scale electric buggies (2WD and 4WD) and trucks (SCT and Stadium).  Racing generally starts at 9am with registration opening at 7:30am and a driver’s briefing held at 8:45am.

We race 2WD and 4WD buggies, stadium trucks, and short course trucks. Motor classes catered for are 21.5 turn brushless with controlled ESC, Stock – 17.5 turn brushless with controlled ESC for 2WD buggies / 13.5 turn brushless with controlled ESC for 4WD buggies, and Modified (no restrictions). The club abides by the rules of RCRA (AARCMCC) and the Victorian Drivers Series (VDS) Rules and Guide depending on the race meeting.

We have a permanent covered pit area as well as a permanent roof over the drivers’ stand to keep drivers cool when the racing gets hot (and the sun). Also, we have an on-site canteen called “Trackside treats” that takes EFTPOS and cash  on race days. Fully stocked with drinks and snacks, as well as a cranking BBQ; it’s just as popular as the racing.

Our members are very friendly and entry is free for first timers.  If you are just starting out, head over to our KEORCA 101 section to find all the details you’ll need to get started.
